Desirable location

Students from around the world are drawn to the lively college community of Isla Vista (IV) next to the UCSB campus. Tropicana Gardens is located right in IV. Bus access to SBCC is super simple with the 15X MTD express bus to Santa Barbara City College stopping right outside our building every 30 minutes during the school week. This means you don’t need to bring a car, but you might want to bring your surfboard! The beach is just a short walk away.
